1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the MhisTourist platform ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

MhisTourist is an online beauty pageant voting platform that allows pageant organizers to create pageants, register contestants, and accept votes from supporters. Users can browse pageants, view contestant profiles, and purchase vote packages to support their favorite contestants.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

4. Organizer Responsibilities

Pageant organizers agree to:

Provide accurate and truthful information about their pageants and contestants
Ensure all contestants have given consent to be featured on the Platform
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Not use the Platform for any fraudulent or unlawful purposes
Process and honor any prizes or commitments promised to winners

5. Voting and Payments

All votes purchased on the Platform are final and non-refundable. Payments are processed securely through Paystack, a PCI-compliant payment gateway. By purchasing votes, you authorize MhisTourist to charge the applicable fees to your chosen payment method.

Vote packages are priced as displayed at the time of purchase
Votes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash
In the event of a technical error, MhisTourist will investigate and may refund votes at its discretion
MhisTourist reserves the right to reverse or adjust votes if fraudulent activity is detected

6. Contestant Conduct

Contestants registered on the Platform agree to:

Provide accurate personal information and photographs
Not engage in any form of vote manipulation or automated voting
Conduct themselves with dignity and respect towards other contestants and users
Comply with the specific rules of each pageant they enter

7. Prohibited Activities

Users are expressly prohibited from:

Using automated scripts, bots, or any form of vote manipulation
Creating multiple accounts to circumvent voting limits
Uploading offensive, inappropriate, or copyrighted content without permission
Attempting to hack, disrupt, or compromise the Platform's security
Engaging in harassment, hate speech, or any form of discrimination
Using the Platform for any illegal purpose

8. Intellectual Property

The MhisTourist name, logo, design, and platform code are protected by intellectual property laws. Content uploaded by users (including pageant information, contestant photos, and descriptions) remains the property of the respective owners. By uploading content, you grant MhisTourist a non-exclusive license to display and distribute the content on the Platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

MhisTourist provides the Platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties regarding the uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Platform. MhisTourist shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform.

10. Termination

MhisTourist reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Platform in any way. Users may terminate their accounts at any time by contacting our support team.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of material changes via email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
